I’m a start-up executive with over 14 years experience creating innovative products and marketing programs for ecommerce, advertising and digital media solutions. I dig new tech, gadgets, games (social games, casual games, core games - all of 'em! :-), and more. I believe social networks and Internet TV will be the dominant platforms for entertainment and engagement within 10-20 years. I also have a lighter side and appreciate good humor and a variety of interesting topics.
I’ve been spending a lot of time with social media (twitter, facebook, others) observing its impact on traditional media, advertising, branding and overall social influence. Maybe I have a defect or something but I find discussing media and advertising trends interesting :-)
I'm currently the VP of Marketing for GameStreamer, a very interesting startup that will change the game for digital distribution of video games. We are in the last push to launch the product but have been incrementally releasing some of the capabilities over the last couple of months. GameStreamer is the next generation of digital distribution for games and will make a very big impact. Most recently I was the VP of Products at Retrevo, bringing innovative products to market such as algorithmically based real-time product reviews, personalized buy or not recommendations, product life-stage's, automated catalogs, Friends and Fans social community as well as driving the social media marketing strategy. Prior to Retrevo I was the Sr. Director of Product Management and Marketing for Trymedia, which is now part of RealNetworks. Trymedia operated a digital distribution system for games publishers and portals with white label and custom private label games stores for Yahoo, AOL, BigFish Games, GameStop, and more that 500 distribution partners. You can find more about my experience on my LinkedIn profile here.
